Favourite Drugstore Products: cheap but cheerful.

There’s nothing I love more then a good drugstore bargain especially when they work just as good or even better than high-end. So, it’s only fair to share my favourites so you can give it a go for yourself and possibly save some ££!

Before I start my list, just because they work for me does not mean everything will work the same for you (although I hope you love them just as much). For face products I have combined skin, so my t-zone is oily and cheeks are dry. Hopefully this gives you some direction as to how they’ll work on you if you know my skin type. So let’s begin…

1. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara.

This is my ride or die since I was 13. I will hardly switch up my mascara because of my strong love for this beauty. Honestly, for me, it’s not watery but also not too dry that it won’t work… the perfect in between. This has also got to be one of the cheapest mascara’s I’ve ever bought and for it to make such a bang is a big deal. For me, this lengthens more than thickens so if that’s the finish you’re after I’d 100% recommend. You can also purchase as waterproof.

2. Revolution Fast Base Foundation Stick.

Now this was a game changer. Not only is it 1/6th of the price of my normal foundation but it works just as well! This stick is crazy full coverage and blends like a dream. I find because it’s a stick it’s so easy to find your perfect coverage as you can layer as you go. I first bought this from watching a MannyMua YouTube video where he recommended it and now I’ve not stopped buying. I believe it comes with 18 shades which is a lot for Drugstore but could still be improved. However, they do offer quite a range of undertones in the collection. I’m quite pale so my perfect shade is F2 – the second lightest shade with a neutral undertone. The best part about it for me is normally the lightest shade in drugstore foundations oxidises too much on me but this one is perfect.

3. Vaseline Aloe Vera.

All day, everyday. Could not recommend anything more in your life honestly. I sleep with this on my lips every night and haven’t had dry lips in about a year. It can fix any problem, dry elbows, dry eyelids, ANYTHING! If you go away and by anything from this… let it be this.

Literally anywhere: £1-£2

4. Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

For how cheap this concealer is, it packs a massive punch! In all honesty, it’s not my favourite concealer, I have loads of high end I prefer. But it’s really good nonetheless. It’s very full coverage and blends out so easily. It’s not as creamy as the high ends I’ve tried but it still does the job it says it does and is definitely the best drugstore concealer I’ve had.

5. Maybelline Master Ink Matte Eyeliner.

Comes in both a matte and satin finish and in multiple colours (I only ever like matte black). This eyeliner is the only one I use. I use to love the Zoeva pen but after finding this I’ll never go back. It’s so easy to use, doesn’t dry out and doesn’t budge all day! I can’t praise it enough and would 100% recommend.

So, that’s my current drugstore favourites. Leave a comment if there’s anything you’re liking that I could give a try and tell me what you think of the stuff I’ve mentioned.
