Current skincare routine.

The one thing that’s always bothered me is my skin. I’ve had bad spots since I was 17 and there was no sign of it slowing down… until now. I’m at the best place I’ve been with my skin for the past 4 years and I’ve never been happier. So, I’m going to share with you what I love to use, what helps me and when I use it.

MORNING.

In the morning I don’t like to do anything too crazy as my skins quite sensitive in the mornings. I also find my skin gets dirtier through out the day so I go harder in the evening.

The first product I use is Clean and clear morning energy skin brightening daily facial scrub.

I love this scrub in the morning. Not only does it smell so fresh for the morning but it makes you feel awake and alive. It freshens up the skin ready for the day without deeply cleaning it. It’s perfect for sensitive skin as the beads aren’t too big or harsh.

You can buy it here from boots for £4.25.

I then move on to a light toner. I like to use Garnier Skin Active Soothing Botanical Toner with Rose Water.

This toner is my favourite as it makes my skin so clean and shiny. It’s perfect for dry and sensitive skin and I have both so this is just amazing. It also doesn’t leave any kind of residue on your skin after use.

You can buy it here for £3.49 at Boots.

After using toner, I make sure I ALWAYS moisturise. I find it the most important part to my morning routine. I like to use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser.

This moisturiser is brilliant if you have oily skin. The water base to the product doesn’t contain any excess oil and therefore doesn’t add to the oil you already have. I have combination skin so this is perfect for my oily and dry areas. It’s also really light on the skin so doesn’t way you down throughout the day.

You can buy it here for £12.99 at Boots.

EVENING.

In the evening I start by using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash for Combination & Sensitive skin.

This is brilliant for my skin type, it’s not too harsh but really cleans your skin up. It’s good to use in the evening as it really gets the dirt from the day out of your skin.

You can buy it here for £2.66 from Boots.

Occasionally, after this I will use a face mask of some kind. I like to switch it up so there’s not a particular one I love. I haven’t really found one that I want to stick to so if you have any suggestions leave a comment and let me know.

After that I’ll use the toner mentioned in the morning and then the same moisturiser.

These are my holy grails in skin care at the minute and have really changed my skin for the better. I’ve also been going through a cosmetic regime of Micro-needling. I haven’t quite finished yet but once I have a post about that will be coming.

That’s all for this one, hope some of this was helpful and as always, if you have any suggestions please leave a comment.

See you in the next one,

Jess.
